Dönü Ulviye Öztürk was born in 1969 in Aksaray. She studied at Anadolu University's Department of Turkish Language and Literature. Öztürk continued her studies she started to take from Rümeysa Odabaş, with Ahmet Koçak until 2016. During the training, she also took classes on ruq’ah, diwani and thuluth. She continued her training, which she started with Hatice Aksoylu, with Hatice Aksu in 2008. She completed her development and specialization trainings in four years, and started working as a master instructor in Başakşehir Public Education Center in 2012. Öztürk is still working as a master instructor at Küçükçekmece Public Education Center.
