Adil Can Güven was born in Bursa in 1953. He started learning his art through a master-apprentice relationship with Abdurrahman Özer in 1975. He produces traditional Anatolian ceramics and tiles (Byzantine, Seljuk, Ottoman, Çanakkale, Tophane), and continues his researches. Güven participated in many group and personal exhibitions both at home and abroad. His works were accepted as works of art by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2001. The students Güven trained are Ruaf Sadi Güven and Cem Güven.
