 Esra Öztürk was born in Istanbul in 1983. She is a graduate of Üsküdar Imam Hatip High School. Öztürk started taking illumination classes from Meryem Er and Ayşin Deniz at İSMEK in 2003 and continued her training with Emel Türkmen after 2007. She won exhibition prize in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Turkish Decorative Arts Competition, and participated in various exhibitions. Some of her works are in private collections. She continues her artistic studies.
