Sibel Abatay, born in 1964, is a graduate of Anadolu University Business Management Department. She started her point lace training in 2005, and worked as a master instructor at Cihangir Public Education Center and at Levent Natuk Birkan Public Education Center in 2008. She received the title of ‘Point Lace Traditional Arts Artist of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism’ in 2012. Abatay still works at Levent Natuk Birkan Public Education Center and Cihangir Public Education Center.
